On the eve of the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the Bihar BJP organised a “Deepotsav” (festival of lamps) Monday evening at the Ambedkar statue located near the Patna High Court premises.
BJP State President Sanjay Saraogi, along with a large number of party office-bearers and workers, participated in the Deepotsav programme and lit lamps in front of the statue.

On this occasion, he said that celebrating the birth anniversary of the architect of the Constitution as a Deepotsav aims to raise awareness among people and spread the message of an egalitarian society, unity, and brotherhood.
He further said that on Ambedkar Jayanti, people should take a pledge to educate their children, secure their rights, and become responsible citizens, and also commit themselves to building the nation envisioned by Baba Saheb.
Sanjay Saraogi added that until the oppressed and deprived sections of society are brought into the mainstream of development, the vision of a developed India will remain incomplete. He said that the NDA government is currently working to fulfill Baba Saheb’s dreams.
